Toby Needs a Home. . .

Toby’s a friendly guy who loves kids and gets along great with other pups, big and small. Loves to give kisses. He’s super smart and learns quickly. He knows how to sit, and we’re working on teaching him not to jump-up. Loves to be around people and be part of the action.

Toby was picked-up by the shelter as a stray, and judging by the scrapes that were down his left side, we think he had a run-in with a car and skidded down the pavement a bit. Fortunately, nothing was broken, and the cuts and scrapes are healing well. Once his hair is a bit longer, you won’t even notice. . .he sure doesn’t!

He’s a great hiking partner, easily handling two miles. Pretty good on a leash but sometimes pulls a bit. Getting better every day! Likes riding in the car and enjoying the view. He loves to snuggle, and is great sleeping at the foot of your bed. He’s also great in a crate at night, and seems to like the downtime. He’s being fostered with other pups, so we’re not sure how he’d be as an only pup, but we’re certainly willing to give it a try. We wouldn’t want him to be home too long by himself though. . .we think he’d get lonely,

Toby loves to play with toys. . .balls, chew toys, stuffies. . .he loves them all! He’s about two years old and weighs just under 20 pounds. Lovely pup. House-trained. Neutered, up-to-date on his shots, and microchipped. Super sweet guy and would be a great addition to any home.

  1. So, Teri. Let me know if these other two contacts don’t work out for Toby. Wasn’t planning my own trip until next spring but would make a flying trip now.
